ニセコFRIENDSは、ニセコ地域の国際交流を推進するために2011年に設立されました。国際交流イベントなどを開催し、地域住民が国籍問わず交流できる活動をしています。

Niseko FRIENDS was established in 2011 to promote cross-cultural understanding in the Niseko area. We help connecting local residents regardless of their cultural background through events and more.

ニセコFRIENDSはニセコ町役場に所属する国際交流員によって運営されている。ニセコ町では、現在、インドネシア、ベルギー、中国、カナダ、イギリスとオーストラリア出身の6人の国際交流員がニセコ町役場とニセコ国際高校にて勤務し、地域の多文化共生や異文化理解、国際理解を推進することを目的として、翻訳・通訳、外国人住民の支援や観光客の手伝い、交流イベントの実施、言語会話教室や学校訪問などさまざまな仕事をしています。

Niseko FRIENDS is run by Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs). Niseko Town currently has six CIRs from Indonesia, Belgium, Germany, China, and Canada working in Niseko Town Hall or Niseko High School of International Studies. CIRs carry out a variety of tasks, including translation and interpretation, supporting foreign residents and tourists, organizing exchange events, holding language conversation classes, and visiting schools. CIRs duty is to promote cross-cultural understanding in the local community, and help developing a community for everyone regardless of their cultural backgrounds.

世界各地の文化を紹介する料理教室・クラフト体験・展示・講座などを開催し、様々な形で文化体験する機会を提供！ We run various events, such as: cooking classes, workshops, exhibitions, seminars, and more, to introduce cultures from around the globe.

交流の場 Regular Gathering

地域の人々が気軽に集まり、交流できる場をいくつか運営しています。 Our regular gathering events provides a place people to come together and share a casual time together.
